Beck captures Olympic Honda Cup
Prior to Game Two of the Storm’s Western Conference Quarterfinal Series versus the London Knights, Randy Rogers, Community Relations Manager for Olympic Honda presented the Olympic Honda Cup to Taylor Beck as the Olympic Honda Three Star Player of the Year.
In his third OHL season, Beck enjoyed a breakout season in leading the Storm in goals (39) assists (54), points (93), plus/minus (+19) and powerplay goals (16). The Niagara Falls native finished the season tied for fourth in the OHL scoring race and became the first Storm player since Martin St. Pierre in his overage season to end the season among the OHL’s top ten scorers.
During 2009/10, Beck earned five first star, eleven second star and four third star honours for a total of 62 Olympic Honda Three Star points. Earlier this season, Beck earned the Olympic Honda Three Star Player of the Month for September/October.
