GUELPH — Guelph Storm goaltender Cody St. Jacques is a nice young man, but there was something a little devilish in his smile following Friday’s win over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
St. Jacques made 29 saves and was named the first star in a gritty 2-1 win over his former team, with which he had a less than amicable parting over the summer.
“There was no way I was losing that one. That felt good,” St. Jacques said. “I wanted to prove them wrong in a sense I guess. To come in and beat them was a great feeling.”
