Western Conference Finals – Game 5 Preview: Guelph Storm vs. Saginaw Spirit
Game 5 between the Guelph Storm and the Saginaw Spirit goes Friday April 26th at 7:05pm in Saginaw, as the Spirit lead the Western Finals series 3-1.
The Storm won game three in Guelph 5-2 after a big third period that started with an early goal by Cedric Ralph, before Nate Schnarr and Keegan Stevenson scored to give the Storm a 5-2 win.
In game four, the Spirit were able to jump out to a 3-0 lead heading into the final period of action. Dmitri Samorukov scored early in the third period to give the Storm their first goal of the night, but a goal by Cole Perfetti half way through the period gave the Spirit a 4-1 win and a commanding 3-1 series lead.
