Vilmer Alriksson signs ELC with Vancouver Canucks
The Vancouver Canucks have signed Guelph Storm forward Vilmer Alriksson to a three-year entry-level contract.
The 34th overall pick in the 2023 CHL Import Draft, Alriksson amassed 33 points (17 g, 16 a) through 67 games in his rookie season with the Storm. Prior to his time with the Storm, Alriksson played 43 games for Djurgardens Jr., where he recorded 21 points (12-9-21) and 22 penalty minutes. The Canucks selected the Enebyberg, Sweden native 107th overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
The Canucks have returned Aliriksson to the Storm, he will rejoin the team ahead of the next game on Friday, October 4th.
