Tracking the Storm – Austin Hall
The Belle River, Ont., native, Austin Hall was selected in the 7th round of the 2013 OHL Priority Selection. Austin spent 3-seasons with the Storm before announcing his retirement in March 2017. The assistant captain announced his retirement from hockey due to a history of concussions. Austin was a leader both on and off the ice for the Storm. Austin with the 2015-2016 recipient of the Paul Fendley Memorial Scholastic Player of the Year award, a 2x Guelph Storm Roger Neilson Memorial Award winner, and the Fay Scott Memorial Award winner. Austin was a major supporter of various community initiatives in Guelph and even served as a Booster Juice Ambassador in his final season with the team.
