Storm Partner with Skyline Group of Companies as Official Helmet Sponsor
(Guelph) The Guelph Storm are proud to announce that Skyline Group of Companies will continue to serve as the team’s exclusive Helmet Partner for the 2023-24 season.
For the second consecutive year, the familiar Skyline logo will be featured on both sides of the players’ helmets for all games, home and away, during the regular season and playoffs.
“Skyline has been a huge part of the Guelph Storm for over 15 seasons, and we are grateful to partner with them as our exclusive helmet decal sponsor,” said Matt Newby, Vice President of Business Operations for the Storm. “The community ideals that we share with Skyline make this a perfect partnership, and we are proud to wear their logo that represents a truly amazing success story born in our hometown.”
Storm players Braeden Bowman, Max Namestnikov, and Chandler Romeo took part in a photo opportunity with Skyline leaders R. Jason Ashdown, Craig Leslie, Martin Castellan, Gordon Driedger, and Matthew Organ last Tuesday morning at Skyline’s head office in downtown Guelph to celebrate the second season of this partnership.
“Skyline is proud to continue its partnership with the Guelph Storm,” said Martin Castellan, Skyline’s Co-Founder and Chief Administrative Officer. “The Storm recognizes the importance of giving back and strengthening the community that rallies behind them. Their contribution in Guelph goes far beyond playing great hockey (although we love that, too!), and we’re pleased to support a team that is so closely aligned with our own community service commitments.”
Founded in Guelph in 1999, Skyline acquires, manages, develops, and offers investment in real estate and clean energy assets across Canada, currently with $8.23+ billion in assets under management. Skyline maintains a significant presence in its hometown, employing more than 400 people and owning/managing 550+ apartment suites, in addition to several commercial and retail properties, in Guelph. Skyline is also dedicated to supporting and giving back to the Guelph community. It facilitates and/or participates in many local charitable campaigns, fundraising events, volunteer opportunities, and other initiatives throughout the year.
The Skyline logo will be on display Friday night as the Storm host the Erie Otters 7:30pm at the Sleeman Centre. Purchase your ticket to the home opener here or at the Storm box office by calling 519-837-9690 or in person at 50 Woolwich Street.
