Playoff Game Preview: Guelph Storm @ Soo Greyhounds
The Storm are back in action as they start the first round of the playoffs with in Sault Saint Marie as they take on the Greyhounds. The puck drops at 7:07pm.
The Storm come into this playoffs after a successful season where they went 36-24-5-3 and finished 5th in the western conference. They finished out the year with one of the top penalty kills in the league with a 81.1%, this was the 4th best penalty kill in the OHL. The teams leading point getter Sasha Pastujov led the team with 76 points this season. He also led goals and assists with 34 and 42 respectively. Watch out for the Storm tonight as they start this playoffs with a road game against the Greyhounds.
The Soo come into tonights playoffs with a record of 39-22-6-1 in the regular season. The Greyhounds also found success on their special teams as they finished the season with the best ranked power play with a percentage of 28.4%. They’ll be looking to take advantage of that tonight as the Storm visit for game 1 of the first round of the playoffs.

Guelph Storm – Daniil Chayka
The Vegas Golden Knights prospect will play a huge role in this series as they face one of the leagues top scorers. Being able to shit Kerins down as well as the Soo power play with be big part of finding success in this round. In 53 games played he scored 7 goals and assisted on 32 assists for a total of 39 points.
Soo Greyhounds – Rory Kerins
Kerins will play a huge role in the offensive success of this Greyhounds team this post season. Over his 67 games played in the regular season he scored 43 goals and assisted on 75 for a total of 118 points. He will have to perform for the Greyhounds this playoffs for them to find success.
