KEEGAN STEVENSON (GUELPH STORM):
Guelph Storm rookie Keegan Stevenson scored his first OHL goal on Sunday afternoon, doing so in fine style against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. Stevenson outmaneuvered two Greyhounds defencemen, winning a footrace to poke a puck past Rasmus Sandin before getting past Conor Timmins to beat Matthew Villalta with a quick release 8:33 into the third period. The Storm fell 7-3 but Stevenson, who just turned 17 on December 31st, had a game to remember. A Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. native who is the son of former OHL and NHL forward Jeremy Stevenson, Keegan was Guelph’s sixth round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.
