With two assists in Saturday’s overtime win in Owen Sound, Michael Buchinger surpassed Storm alumni and current NHL defenseman Drew Doughty for the fifth-highest career point total by a defenseman in Storm history. With one game remaining in the 2023/24 season, he is three points behind Ryan Merkley. The St. Louis Blues draft pick established a career-high 67 points through 61 games in the 2022/23 OHL season.
