Junior Reporter – Logan
Friday, October 4 SOO @ GUE
On Friday, October 4th I was the Jr. Stormers Kids Club Junior Reporter. I got to tour the press box and media room. I also got to ride on Baby Boni after watching the warm-ups. At the end of the game, I got to interview my favourite player Leo Serlin from the Guelph Storm! I was able to ask him 3 questions, it was a great night!
It was a good back-and-forth game, but the Soo Greyhounds came out on top with a 4-2 victory! Will McFadden and Parker Snelgrove both scored a goal in this great game. I’m excited for the rest of the season!
What is your favourite Guelph Storm memory?
“I’d say overall, probably scoring my first OHL goal. It’s a pretty common answer but it feels a lot better than you’d expect it, you get a lot of support from all your teammates. Getting that puck is a special feeling.”
What is your favourite NHL team and who is your favourite player?
“My favourite NHL team is probably the Winnpieg jets and my favourite player is Mark Scheifele”
What is some advice you have for a young hockey player?
“Keep working hard. There will always be some ups and downs, my favourite saying is don’t get too high on your highs, and don’t get too low on your lows. Just keep going and everything will work out.”
