Happy Anniversary to the 2018-19 Storm Squad!
Two Years ago on this day, our 2018-19 squad captured the fourth OHL Championship in team history…and we all know it wasn’t easy.
Arguably our most resilient Champions, this team definitely made it interesting.
In classic #comebackkid fashion, these champs came from behind yet again entering the second period down 2-0. Rallying for five goals in the middle frame while holding the 67’s to just one, a three goal Storm third would solidify the win.
Seven Storm players had multi-point nights as they defeated the Ottawa 67’s 8-3 in front of a sold out Sleeman Centre.
It feels like yesterday, yet it’s already been two years. Happy 2nd Anniversary to our fourth and STILL reigning OHL Champs!
