Guelph Storm comes up short in a shootout
BARRIE — The Guelph Storm shot blanks in a shootout on New Year’s Eve.
Tied 3-3 in regulation, Barrie’s Tyson Foerster was the only scorer of the shootout as Guelph’s Pavel Gogolev, Keegan Stevenson and Eric Uba all missed, giving Barrie the 4-3 win.
Despite the loss, the one point earned means the Storm is all alone in first place in the Western Conference to start 2020.
