Each season, the Guelph Storm is proud to work with freelance multimedia members to help bring the season to life on social media, with in-arena signage, dynamic pre-game videos, and more!
The game day regular photography team includes two members of the Guelph sports community, Gar FitzGerald and Michael Bremner. In-game photos and video make up the bulk of their Guelph Storm content, but supporting a junior hockey team also means the opportunity to attend community events and on-location shoots.
The process from shutter to social involves the communications team working closely with FitzGerald and Bremner to ensure the team’s needs and desired shots are met. Many of the Storm’s graphics and posters are built from their photos, ranging from specific posed shots to action shots throughout the year.
As the 2024/2025 season came to an end, FitzGerald and Bremner were asked to select some of their favourite photos from the season. Their shot choices can be viewed below.
