USA downs Team Ontario at U17’s

Team USA including Storm 2nd round pick Luke Kirwan capped off an undefeated preliminary round and eliminated Storm 1st round pick Garrett McFadden (pictured – first from right) and Team Ontario on Thursday with a 6-2 win.

Kirwan notched one goal and an assist in the victory, while McFadden picked up his third point in as many games in a losing effort.

Kirwan, who finished second in scoring in the the prelimary round with 10 points in four contests, and Team USA will advance to the semifinals to face Team Quebec while Russia will play Team Pacific in the other semi.
