Storm Record Set to Fall
The Guelph Storm will set a franchise attendance record for the sixth time in seven seasons on Wednesday night when the club hosts the Kitchener Rangers.
Through their first 32 home games of the 2006/07 regular season, the Guelph Storm have hosted a total of 135,080 fans (4,221 per game). On Wednesday night versus the Rangers, the 3,185th fan through the arena gates will establish a new franchise attendance record – shattering the previous mark of 138,264 set during the 2004/05 season.
Guelph Storm 2007/08 Season Tickets are now on sale. Early Bird pricing is in effect with a $75 per seat deposit before the final Guelph Storm home game of the 2006/07 OHL Playoffs. Over 140,000 fans during the regular season & over 4,200 fans per game
With two games remaining Storm fans are on their way to shattering two milestones that have never been approached during the first 15 seasons of Guelph Storm hockey.
– With a total of 4,920 fans combined between Wednesday night and Friday night versus the Windsor Spitfires, the Storm will surpass 140,000 fans in the regular season for the first time in team history.
– Should total attendance in the final two regular season home games exceed 7,720 fans, the Guelph Storm franchise will average in excess of 4,200 fans per game for the first time in franchise history.
