YEAR IN REVIEW… 2000-01 was a season of change for the Storm as new head coach Jeff Jackson took over behind the bench and the team moved into their new home, the Guelph Sports & Entertainment Centre. In January the Storm showed their new building off to the rest of the CHL when they hosted the 2001 CHL All-Star Series game between the WHL Eastern Conference and the OHL Western Conference. Storm goaltender Craig Andersson was named MVP of this game. On the ice, the team battled all year and wound up in second place in their division with a 34-23-9-2 record, before the Brampton Battalion ended the Storm season in the first round of the playoffs.
