YEAR IN REVIEW… 1994-95 would become the most successful regular season ever with coaches Craig Hartsburg and Paul Brydges at the helm. The tandem guided the team to a franchise best 47-15-5 record. Not only did the team finish first in the Central Division, but they also captured their first OHL regular season Championship. The team also advanced to the OHL Finals for the first time against the Detroit Jr. Red Wings (now the Plymouth Whalers). Guelph ended up losing 4 games to 2 to the Jr. Wings, but ended the season on a high note winning numerous league awards including OHL Executive of the Year for Mike Kelly and Coach of the Year for Craig Hartsburg.
