Spitfires Acquire Djibril Toure from Sudbury Wolves
WINDSOR, ON.
The Windsor Spitfires have acquired D Djibril Toure from the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for a 3rd rd pick in 2027 (FLNT), and a 8th rd pick in 2025 (WSR).
Toure, a native of Dorval, Quebec was signed as a free agent ahead of the 2022-23 season by the Wolves. The 2003 born defenseman appeared in 81 regular season games over two seasons with the Wolves and recorded 11 goals and 17 assists for 28 points. He was rewarded with an NHL contract as a free agent with his stellar defensive play by the Ottawa Senators ahead of this season.
