Spitfires Acquire Connor Toms from the Soo Greyhounds
WINDSOR, ON.
The Windsor Spitfires have acquired 2004 defenceman Connor Toms from the Soo Greyhounds in exchange for a 12th round pick (WSR) in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection.
Toms is a native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and stands at 5’11 and 174 pounds. The defenceman was drafted to his hometown club in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection in the third round, 44th overall.
Since joining the OHL, Toms has amassed 112 career games and has recorded 6 goals and 22 assists for 28 points. He also has played in 8 career playoff games.
General Manager Bill Bowler spoke on the acquisition of Connor.
“Toms is an OHL defenceman with an offensive upside.” GM Bill Bowler said. “A change of scenery should help his game and we feel confident we have added some real good depth in the defence position.”
