SPIRIT LAUNCH “NAME THE MASCOT” CONTEST
SAGINAW, Mich. – Starting today, October 26th, Saginaw Spirit fans can submit name ideas for the new mascot by sending an email to [email protected] with “Name the Mascot” in the subject line and his or her name as well as your name, address, and phone number in the body of the message. Name suggestions will be taken through November 1st.
A vote on the top three names, as determined by the Saginaw Spirit front office, will run from November 2nd to November 4th on the Saginaw Spirit Facebook Page and Twitter Page. The winning name will be announced on November 5th at 7:05 PM at the Saginaw Spirit’s Home Game vs the Barrie Colts, when the mascot makes its official debut at The Dow Event Center.
The winner of the contest will be selected at random from those fans who submitted the winning name. The winner of the mascot naming contest will win two tickets to the Saginaw Spirit Home Game on November 5th, as well as a special meet and greet with the mascot prior to revealing the mascot on November 5th, and a Spirit merchandise prize pack.
