• Scored his first playoff goal in his OHL playoff debut on April 21, 2022, against Hamilton Bulldogs.
• Finished first on the 2021-22 Petes roster with a +9 rating.
• Recorded his first career two-point game (two assists) on January 21, 2022, against Mississauga Steelheads.
• Recorded his first career OHL point (assist) on October 30, 2021 vs Niagara IceDogs.
• Made his OHL debut against the North Bay Battalion on October 7, 2021.
• Participated in Hockey Canada’s U18 Development Camp in July, 2021.
• Participated in Hockey Canada’s virtual U17 Development Camp in July, 2020.
• Signed a standard player agreement with the Petes on April 20, 2020.
• Won OMHA Championship with Quinte Red Devils in 2013, 2015, 2019, and 2020.
• Named OMHA Minor Midget Player of the Year in 2019-20.

• Petes alumnus Chris Hunt (1990-91) coached McCoy and the 2019-20 Quinte Red Devils.
• Named MVP for volleyball in Sr. high school volleyball in Grade 9 & 10.
• Won COSSA in Jr. high school soccer.
• Coached his sister's ball hockey team to a provincial championship.
