2016 Saginaw Spirit OHL Priority Selection Review
Saginaw, MI– On Saturday, the Saginaw Spirit made 17 selections in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection Draft to fill out the remainder of their 2016-17 50-man roster.
The Spirit choose Blade Jenkins, a forward from Jackson,MI with their first round selection in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.
“As an organization, we are pleased to add someone of Blade’s, skill, ability, and more importantly, character to the Saginaw Spirit. He is an outstanding player. The sky as the limit in terms of potential for Blade. As good of a player that he is, he is an even better person and that’s the type of people we want in this organization.” said Spirit General Manager Dave Drinkill.
All Spirit draft picks will be invited to partake in Rookie Camp on May 14th and 15th at Saginaw Bay Ice Arena in Saginaw.
