Windsor: Saturday evening, the Spitfires completed a home-and-home series with the West Division-leading Flint Firebirds at The Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan with a 3-2 shootout loss. Windsor did not trail in the game until Samuel Assinewai scored the shootout winner in the eighth round. Ryan Abraham (6) and New York Rangers prospect Will Cuylle (28) scored for the Spitfires. Windsor has earned at least one point in each of the last four games. They trail the Flint Firebirds by seven points and the second place Greyhounds by six heading into action today.
