Mike Meeker (1977-1978)
After having a successful three seasons with the University of Wisconsin, Mike brought his talents to the Electric City. He also excelled in the OHL, totaling 69 points in his only season with the Petes. His work did not go unnoticed and he was drafted 25th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins, in 1978. He then had a successful season with the AHL Binghamton Dusters, as well as playing four games with the Penguins. Unfortunately, Meeker decided to hang up his skates in 1979, but briefly rekindled his career in 1981 to play two seasons with Karlskrona AIK of the Sweden-2 league.
