The Petes return to the PMC after their quick Northern road trip, to face off against the Colts, who have not visited the PMC since their 6-1 loss on March 1, 2020.
Peterborough defeated the Colts 5-4 in overtime on November 13, 2021, in Barrie. Tucker Robertson scored the game-winning goal, collecting his second point of the night (1G, 1A). Beau Jelsma, a 2022 NHL Draft prospect, scored two goals against the Petes in that game.
Peterborough native and Philadelphia Flyers prospect J.R. Avon, who is currently on a five-game point streak (2G, 4A, 6PTS), recorded three points (2G, 1A) against Barrie earlier in the season.
LA Kings’ top defensive prospect and OHL Defenceman of the Month for January, Brandt Clarke, has 13 points (3G, 10 A) in his last 10 games. He leads with OHL with 50 points (10G, 40A) amongst defencemen.
New Jersey Devils prospect and hometown product Chase Stillman will look to extend his point streak to eight games, this afternoon. He will also be playing in his 100th OHL game.
