Tonight’s game is the final matchup between these two teams in the regular season season. The Battalion are coming enter this game following a seven game win streak.
Despite a tough Thursday night loss on the road against the Sudbury Wolves, Peterborough native and New Jersey Devils prospect Chase Stillman will look to extend his point streak tonight to seven games.
The Batallions’ rookie and defensive point leader Ty Nelson, was named to the 2022 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game this week. Nelson is ranked fourth overall for OHL rookie points collecting 35 points (6 G, 29 A) in 35 games. North Bay’s Brandon Coe continues to lead the league for most points (78), sits in fourth for overall goals (30 G) and assists (48 A), third for power play assists (20 A) and game winning goals (7 G).
Emmett Sproule, who continues his career season, is just behind Coe for overall assists as he sits in the fifth position (43 A) and maintains the same ranking for power play assists (19 A).
