Kevin He Nominated for Red Tilson Trophy
NIAGARA, ON – The Ontario Hockey League has announced this years nominees for the Red Tilson Trophy, awarded to the league’s most outstanding player in the regular season. The nominees are selected by the OHL General Mangers with one player from each team selected. The award is then voted upon by the League’s writers and broadcasters.
IceDogs forward, Kevin He, was nominated for the award for the first time in his career. In 64 games this season, the 2024 NHL Draft prospect posted a team high 31 goals to go along with 22 assists for 53 points. His 53 points was good for second on the team, only behind IceDogs captain, Gavin Bryant.
The 2006 born forward was ranked 89th on the last NHL Central Scouting list and posted career highs in points, goals and assists this season. His attention will now turn to the NHL Draft in Vegas on June 28th and June 29th.
