Raftis says Hounds interested in adding talent – SAULT STAR

It’s still roughly five weeks away.

Yet here we are in early December, and it isn’t hard to imagine a cell phone constantly attached to the ear of Soo Greyhounds general manager Kyle Raftis.

Having shone through the first 40% of the season, while establishing themselves as legitimate championship contenders, it would seem a safe bet the Hounds are looking to buy prior to the Ontario Hockey League trade deadline.

This year’s deadline is Jan. 9 at 12 noon. The trade deadline for overage players is exactly 24 hours earlier.
