Lawrence to Play for Under-18 Team
Hockey Canada announced the roster of players that will represent Canada in the Under-18 Junior World Championship this month in the Czech Republic.
Twenty-two Canadian Hockey League players, including eight from the OHL were selected to the roster. Greyhound forward Chris Lawrence will play along other OHL players including Guelph Storm defenceman Ryan Parent, who was named team captain.
Canada opens the round robin portion of the tournament on Thursday against Germany. Canada also plays Sweden, Denmark and Russia in round robin before the playoff round that starts April 21.
