Greyhounds Still in Action
Chris Lawrence has continued his play this season with the Under-18 Team Canada in Czech Republic. In Team Canada's first game, Lawrence tied teh game on the powerplay. Canada beat Germany 2-1 on Thursday and lost today 2-1 to Sweden. In two games for Team Canada, Lawrence has one goal in two games as well as two penalty minutes. Canada will play Denmark on Monday and Russia on Tuesday. The tournament will end on Sunday, April 24.
Last night, Jeff Carter played his first game for the Philadelphia Phantoms this season against Hershey Bears. He did not register a point or a penalty but he did put nine shots on goal. The Phantoms have two regular season games remaining, one tonight and the other is on Sunday.
