OHL Announces 2019 Exhibition Game Schedule
Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hockey League today announced the Exhibition Game Schedule for the 2019-20 season that includes 45 games from Thursday August 29 through Sunday September 15.
Among the pre-season highlights is a four-team showcase event in Kitchener featuring a round-robin schedule with the host Rangers, North Bay Battalion, Peterborough Petes, and the Saginaw Spirit competing over the Labour Day weekend. A pair of OHL clubs will also play interleague games against Quebec Major Junior Hockey League competition including the Ottawa 67’s with two games against the Gatineau Olympiques, and the Sudbury Wolves who will face the Memorial Cup champion Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in Timmins. That contest is one of at least a dozen on the exhibition schedule to be hosted in a community venue.
All OHL clubs are currently scheduled to play between three and six pre-season contests with the potential for additional games still to be added in the coming months.
