Hounds announce Hockey Operations changes for 2023-24
Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Raftis announced this morning a pair of changes to the Hockey Operations department of the club heading into 2023-24.
Assistant Coach Brent Hughes and Goaltending Coach Matt Smith will not be returning to the club for the upcoming Ontario Hockey League season.
Hughes worked with the club for one season (2022-23) after being hired in August of 2022. Smith was hired in August of 2021 and completed two seasons with the program.
The Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club would like to thank both Brent and Matt for their contributions to our organization and community and wish them well in the future endeavours.
The search for replacements for both positions has already begun.
