2025-26 Team Award Winners
As is customary every year, the Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club took a pause amidst their final weekend of the regular season, and earlier tonight took the opportunity to recognize players from this year’s team at their 2025-26 Annual Awards Banquet.
The event was held at Delta Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront in front of team ownership, coaches, staff, players, billets, families, friends and special guests.
In total eleven (11) team awards were distributed before the club recognized two members of their game day staff for extended contributions and long-term service to the club – Dave Mislan (50+ years) and Anne Varcoe (30+ years).
To conclude the night Hounds’ recognized their ‘graduating class’: Lukas Fischer, Carter George, Justin Cloutier and Marco Mignosa.
All four were recognized with their special tribute video followed by heartfelt and meaningful speeches from each of them to the crowd.
Special thanks goes to the staff at the Delta staff for their hospitality and outstanding service, along with 705Live (Mike Blair) for their support of this event along with SK Group for their commitment to ensuring our awards and presentations went off without a hitch.
