1997 Throwback Jersey Auction
In honour of Joe Thornton, the Soo Greyhounds will wear 1997 Throwback jerseys on November 4th, when Joe’s #19 is raised to the rafters at GFL Memorial Gardens. These game worn jerseys will be auctioned off in support of the Sault Area Hospital’s Child and Adolescent Psychology Program (CAPP). The CAPP program at SAH helps child and teenagers with mental health and addiction issues.
“The mental health of our local youth is of the utmost importance”, said Teresa Martone, Executive Director, Sault Area Hospital Foundation. “The Child and Adolescent Psychology Program at Sault Area Hospital will benefit greatly from this generous donation from our partners at the Soo Greyhounds organization.”
Online bidding is open now, bidding will close Sunday, November 12th at midnight.
In person bidding will be available at the games on Saturday November 4th and Sunday November 5th.
Minimum bid is $100 and all bids must be in increments of $25. Fans interested in bidding on a jersey can do so through the form located below.
**Only those with a successful bid will have their payment processed, and subsequently contacted to arrange pick-up or delivery.
