JOB OPPORTUNITY – Business Operations Associate

Job Purpose:
This role will specifically focus on selling individual game tickets as well as selling and renewing Season Tickets, Group Tickets, Nightly suite rentals and selling and renewing Corporate Partnerships.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The specific responsibilities of the Business Operations Associate are, but not limited to, the following:
Ticket Sales Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to)
• Manage multiple accounts, developing, positive working relationships with all customer / fan touch points
• Drive fan retention, renewals, fan satisfaction
• Oversee the implementation and fulfillment of all team ticket requests
• Prepare campaign insights and reports with the purpose to develop future
• Manage small group sales including choirs, timbit teams, chuck a puck, and bday parties
• Develop new and creative ways to reach out to individuals, groups, and companies
• Focus on ensuring the maintenance of superior customer / fan services levels, operation excellence
• Meet and exceed all ticketing targets as set by organization’s leadership team
• Work game days to ensure all ticketing information and access to tickets is available.
• Engage with customers as required at games
• Conduct cold-calls to engage/peak interest in group sales from local businesses and organizations
• Engage with fans on game days via questions at team’s “Customer Service Desk”
• Maintain and continue to develop relationships with school boards and educational around the Algoma District, with the goal of promoting the team brand and executing group sales programs.
• Responsible for assisting with advance game day operations including pregame set up, in game responsibilities and post game take down.
Corporate Sales Executive (including, but not limited to).
• Meet or exceed established annual sales revenue (renewals and new business)
• Prospect new business through cold calling and networking
• Cultivate strong relationships with all corporate partners
• Engage with customers as required at games
• Provide ‘proof of performance’ for corporate partners at the conclusion of season
Schedule: Full Time, including evening, weekends, and holidays when required.
Required Knowledge / Skills / qualifications:
• Prior Sales experience
• College or university diploma / degree preferred with a business or marketing related field
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient using word and excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self motivated and goal oriented
• Valid, Clean driver’s license
• The successful candidate must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
