2014 Development Camp DETAILS RELEASED

The Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club will open their 2014 Development Camp this weekend when thirty prospects arrive in Sault Ste. Marie.

Set for Friday, April 25 through Saturday, April 26, all of this year’s camp will take place at the Essar Centre (home of the Hounds).

Over the course of the camp, players will take part in a variety of events ranging from fitness testing, skill sessions, practices, team meetings and a “full game experience.”
The full-game experience/scrimmage will be on Saturday, April 26 (4 p.m.) at the Essar Centre.
**NOTE** – the start time of 4 p.m.

The game is FREE to attend and open to the general public so look forward to seeing all fans of #HoundPower there!

This year’s camp will be broken down into just two teams.
– 30 total players;  4 goalies, 9 defenseman, 17 forwards
– 6 players were selected in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection, 14 were selected in earlier this month in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection while 10 are FREE AGENT invites.

SPECIAL “HOUND POUND HOURS”
If you’re still looking for your Soo Greyhounds apparel or novelty item to show your hometown pride during the off-season here is your chance.

The “Hound Pound” store inside the Essar Centre will be hosting a DEVELOPMENT CAMP SALE during both days of camp.
During that time most items will be on sale, and clearance items will be marked down even further.

Hound Pound hours are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 25 and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 26.
