COME FROM BEHIND WIN FOR THE BULLDOGS IN SAGINAW
The Hamilton Bulldogs opened a swing through Michigan Thursday night with a come from behind 4-3 win over the Saginaw Spirit.
Not a great start for the Bulldogs as the Spirit jumped on a rebound to take a 1-0 lead just 30-seconds into the game. Saginaw jumped out in front 2-0 at 9:20 and Hamilton headed to the dressing room looking to re-group after a rough opening twenty minutes.
Almost a carbon copy to the start 2nd period as Saginaw scored early at 1:45 to put the Bulldogs down 3-0. The Black and Gold’s offense finally got in gear on the power-play at 5:42 as Marian Studenic (8) banged one home to cut the deficit to 3-1 after 2.
It was all Hamilton in the 3rd period as the Bulldogs out-shot the Spirit 18-4. Marian Studenic (9) got his second goal of the night at 3:50 to make it 3-2, Isaac Nurse (7) tied the game 3-3 at 14:01 and just 32-seconds later Arthur Kaliyev (10) got the game winner at 14:33.
Hamilton out-shot Saginaw 42-20.

With the win, the Bulldogs record improves to 15-6-2-3.
Hamilton is back in action Friday night as they face the Firebirds in Flint at 7 pm.
