BULLDOGS OFFENSE EXPLODES FOR 9-3 WIN IN OTTAWA
The Hamilton Bulldogs wrapped up the weekend with a convincing 9-3 win Saturday afternoon in Ottawa.
The Bulldogs offense got off to a quick start as Matthew Strome (28) scored short-handed early to make it 1-0. Mackenzie Entwistle (6) tipped one home less than two minutes later to make it 2-0 as the Bulldogs had two goals on two shots. Ottawa got on the board to cut the lead to 2-1 only to see Hamilton score again as Arthur Kaliyev (18) upped the lead to 3-1 at the end of the 1st period.
The Black and Gold got the only goal of the 2nd period as Brandon Saigeon (25) poked a loose puck over the goal line to make it 4-1.
The Bulldogs blew the game open in the 3rd period by outscoring the 67’s 5-2. Gloucester native Will Bitten (14, 15, 16) led the way with a hat-trick with singles from Marian Studenic (14) and the second of the game from Arthur Kaliyev (19).
Hamilton out-shot Ottawa 38-23.
67 goal scorers were Carter Robertson (2, 3) and Austen Keating (17).

With the win Hamilton’s season record improves to 29-10-3-3.
