BULLDOGS ACQUIRE DRAFT SELECTIONS FROM RANGERS
BRANTFORD, ONTARIO. Brantford Bulldogs General Manager Matt Turek today announced the acquisition of conditional draft selections; Kitchener’s 2027 5th & Kitchener’s 2026 7th from the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for goaltender Tristan Malboeuf.
Malbouef, an Oakville product, was originally selected in the 15th round, 290th overall in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection Draft. Earning his way to the Ontario Hockey League and signing with the Bulldogs in 2021, Malboeuf has played 33 games in the OHL posting a 3.44 GAA / .894 SV% and a pair of shutouts, including one in his first OHL start while also being part of the Bulldogs 2022 OHL Championship team.
