ALEX PHARAND NAMED TO HOCKEY CANADA U-17 ROSTER
HAMILTON, ONTARIO. The Hamilton Bulldogs are incredibly proud of Alex Pharand and his selection to Team Canada’s U-17 for the 2021 Capital City Challenge.
Pharand, a native of Sudbury, ON was selected by the Bulldogs in the 1st round, 14th overall, of the 2021 OHL Priority Selection Draft. The 6’2” 187lbs pivot has impressed at every level with his skills and leadership both on and off the ice and has continued that in Hamilton. Pharand has skated in all 10 games for the Bulldogs so far in his rookie season while recording his first OHL assist.
Pharand joins a great history of Bulldogs players that have gone on to be selected at the U-17 level for Hockey Canada including Matthew Strome & MacKenzie Entwistle in 2015, Connor Roberts in 2016, Connor McMichael in 2017, Logan Morrison in 2018 & Ryan Winterton in 2019.
