WESTLAND INSURANCE COMMUNITY PLAYER OF THE MONTH: DYLAN TSHERNA
The Brantford Bulldogs are pround to announce the Westland Insurance Community Player of the Month for December… Bulldogs forward Dylan Tsherna.
For Dylan Tsherna, the award is half a season in the making. From his arrival in Brantford with the Bulldogs, Dylan has made it a priority to be a part of his new community. Having volunteered for a team leading FOUR school visits on the season, Dylan has met and talked to school kids all across Brantford sharing a consistently positive and uplifting message while conveying the importance of hard work and dedication as the keys to success in both education and athletics.
Dylan stepped forward as a community leader in December when he, along with fellow rookies Jake O’Brien & Daniel Chen, all volunteered to make a visit to Echo Place Elementary School. Dylan led the discussion showing poise and character far beyond his years, including helping guide a couple of new Canadian arrivals who have already taken a love for playing the game, and was a very popular ask for autographs following the chat.
Outside of his team lead in school visits, Dylan has taken roles in other community events from the Bulldogs in Brantford. Helping lead a team autograph signing at Lynden Park Mall which drew an incredible crowd to the Brantford staple as well as being a large presence at the Bulldogs first ever Kid’s Club event, where Dylan went from table to table to make sure each member of the club was enjoying their day with the Bulldogs!
The Brantford Bulldogs are incredibly proud of what Dylan has already accomplished as a leader in the community and look forward to seeing him continue to be a leader and a force for positive change!
Congratulations Dylan!
