In his 30th season behind the bench, Ottawa 67’s Head Coach and GM Brian Kilrea is preparing to celebrate another milestone in his distinguished career. The 67’s home game against the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors will mark Killer’s 2000th as a coach. Kilrea, with over 1100 victories, is also the winningest coach in junior hockey history.

The Ottawa 67’s and the OHL will mark this achievement in a pre-game ceremony on February 2nd. The commemoration will feature many special guests, including Don Cherry and Mayor O’Brien . There will also be special giveaways honoring Kilrea’s accomplishments and highlighting past players coached by the Ottawa hockey legend.
