Ottawa 67’s Sign 2026 Draft Pick Brayden Jaravata

OTTAWA – The Ottawa 67’s announced today that defenceman Brayden Jaravata has signed an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement with the club.

“Brayden is a mobile defenceman who plays a tenacious, disruptive game,” said General Manager Jan Egert. “He is uncomfortable to play against and enjoys elevating the temperature of competition.”

The Vaughan, Ontario native was selected by Ottawa 36th overall in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection. Jaravata spent the 2025-26 season with The Hill Academy U16 AAA, recording 12 goals and 28 assists for 40 points in 63 games. He also represented The Hill Academy at the OHL Cup, adding three points in four games.

The defenceman is expected to continue his development with St. Andrew’s College during the 2026-27 season.

OTTAWA – Les 67 d’Ottawa ont annoncé aujourd’hui que le défenseur Brayden Jaravata avait signé un contrat de bourse et de développement de la Ligue de hockey de l’Ontario avec le club.

« Brayden est un défenseur mobile qui pratique un jeu tenace et perturbateur », a déclaré le directeur général Jan Egert. « Il est un adversaire redoutable qui aime faire monter la tension sur la glace. »

Originaire de Vaughan, en Ontario, il a été sélectionné par Ottawa en 36e position lors du repêchage prioritaire de la LHO de 2026. Jaravata a passé la saison 2025-2026 avec l’équipe U16 AAA de la Hill Academy, où il a inscrit 12 buts et 28 passes décisives pour un total de 40 points en 63 matchs. Il a également représenté la Hill Academy lors de la Coupe de la LHO, où il a récolté trois points en quatre matchs.

Le défenseur poursuivra son développement à St. Andrew’s College au cours de la saison 2026-2027.
