Drive by graduation for two special 67’s fans
The Ottawa 67’s were proud to take part in a ‘Drive-By’ grad ceremony for two of our biggest fans.
Ryan and Alexandra are two students in the Developmentally Delayed Program at Gloucester High School where they have been working hard to achieve their high school diploma. Like many students across the country and around the world grad ceremonies were cancelled or moved to a virtual space. When the 67’s got word that Ryan and Alexandra’s teachers were planning a special visit we were all-in!
Riley Raccoon was so pumped to see his fans again and when asked to participate 67’s goalie Cédrick Andrée only had two questions… Where? and When?
So with the help of our friends at Otto’s BMW & Otto’s Subaru who provided us with our Community Subaru and a BMW convertible we hit the road in style along with GHS teachers, Ottawa Bandits Coaches, REDBLACKS Cheer and Ottawa Police.
Congrats again Ryan and Alex, and thank you to your teachers and coaches for letting us be a part of your special day!
“Today was another mind blowing occasion for us. I don’t think there are enough words to express how we feel, but we are sincerely appreciative for Ottawa 67 making Ryan’s day so special. We have captured beautiful memories today and we will talk about them for months to come.” – Pam Randhawa & Mike Parent
