Single Game Tickets for Ottawa 67’s 50th Anniversary Season Now On Sale
The Ottawa 67’s home opener is 18 days away when the Barber Poles host the defending OHL champions, Erie Otters, as the celebrations of the 50th anniversary season begin. On Wednesday, the hockey club announced that single game tickets are now on sale starting as low as $12.
Over the course of the 2017-18 season, the Ottawa 67’s will pay tribute to each decade of their historic past in honour of the 50th Anniversary. The 50 years of 67’s hockey history willl be commemorated through a special project, unveiled at the home opener on September 24 at 7 p.m.
The September 24 home opener is the first of five games celebrating each decade of the hockey club’s history. The 67’s will also celebrate their first-ever home game in their home arena, then the Ottawa Civic Centre (now TD Place), on December 29th and have a special game looking forward to the future at the annual Prospects Game on March 10th. Each commemorative game will pay tribute to the teams and players from that decade featuring appearances by 67’s alumni.
