Four players selected to represent the Eastern Conference at the Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game
OTTAWA – The Ottawa 67’s have announced that Nathan Amidovski, Ryder Fetterolf, Ondrej Ruml and Thomas Vandenberg have been selected to represent the Eastern Conference at the Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game presented by Enbridge Gas.
The game will take place on January 14, 2025, at Peterborough Memorial Centre and will feature the top 2026 NHL Entry Draft prospects from the Ontario Hockey League’s Eastern and Western Conferences.
“We are very proud of Nathan, Ryder, Ondrej, and Thomas for earning this opportunity,” said 67’s General Manager Jan Egert. “They’re important players on our team, and they all have bright futures ahead of them. We are excited to see them compete on this stage, standing alongside some of the top prospects in our league.”
Amidovski, 17, was selected 11th overall by Ottawa in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. Before joining the OHL, Nathan played for the Barrie Colts U16 AAA team, where he tallied 69 points in 33 games. He also totalled 22 points over nine playoff outings and finished with six points in five games at the 2024 OHL Cup. In his rookie year, he posted eight points over 52 games. This season, the Alliston native suited up in 26 games for the 67’s, scoring five goals and 11 assists for 16 points, including one shootout winner.
Fetterolf, 17, was signed as a free agent by the Ottawa 67’s in June 2025. He joined the team after a remarkable season with Gilmour Academy, where he posted a .940 save percentage and a 1.64 goals-against average over 61 games in the USHS-Prep circuit. This season, he has played 18 games, maintaining a 0.922 save percentage with a record of 14-3-1-0, including two shutouts. He has been recognized as OHL Rookie of the Week twice and was named OHL Rookie of the Month for November.
Ruml, 17, was selected eighth overall by Ottawa in the 2025 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft. Originally from Boskovice, Czechia, Ondrej played for HC Dynamo Pardubice U17, earning 40 points in 41 games. He also contributed 10 points in seven playoff games, with one goal and nine assists. This season, playing for the 67’s, he has appeared in 30 games and scored 17 points, comprising seven goals and ten assists.
Vandenberg, 17, was selected 93rd overall by Ottawa in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. He spent the 2024-25 season with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the United States Hockey League, where he tallied nine goals and nine assists for 18 points over 55 regular-season games. This year, he recorded 18 points in 21 games, including a hat trick in his OHL debut. He is ranked #70 by Consolidated Ranking and #30 by TSN/Craig Button for the 2026 NHL Draft.

OTTAWA – Les 67 d’Ottawa ont annoncé que Nathan Amidovski, Ryder Fetterolf, Ondrej Ruml et Thomas Vandenberg ont été sélectionnés pour représenter la Conférence de l’Est au match des meilleurs espoirs Connor McDavid de la Ligue de hockey de l’Ontario (OHL) présenté par Enbridge Gas.
Le match aura lieu le 14 janvier 2025 au Peterborough Memorial Centre et mettra en vedette les meilleurs espoirs du repêchage 2026 de la LNH, issus des conférences de l’Est et de l’Ouest de la Ligue de hockey de l’Ontario.
« Nous sommes très fiers que Nathan, Ryder, Ondrej et Thomas puissent avoir cette opportunité », a dit Jan Egert, le directeur général des 67. « Ce sont des joueurs importants dans notre équipe, et ils ont tous un grand avenir devant eux. On a hâte de les voir jouer dans ce tournoi, aux côtés de certains des meilleurs espoirs de notre ligue. »
Amidovski, 17 ans, a été sélectionné au 11e rang par Ottawa lors du repêchage prioritaire de la LHO en 2024. Avant de rejoindre la LHO, Nathan a joué pour l’équipe U16 AAA des Colts de Barrie, où il a récolté 69 points en 33 matchs. Il a également totalisé 22 points en neuf matchs éliminatoires et a terminé avec six points en cinq matchs lors de la Coupe de la LHO 2024. Lors de sa première année avec les 67, il a récolté huit points sur 52 matchs. Cette saison, le natif d’Alliston a disputé 26 matchs, marquant cinq buts et 11 passes décisives pour un total de 16 points, dont un but décisif en tirs de barrage.
Fetterolf, 17 ans, a été recruté en tant qu’agent libre par les 67 d’Ottawa en juin 2025. Il a rejoint l’équipe après une saison remarquable avec la Gilmour Academy, où il a affiché un pourcentage d’arrêts de 0,940 et une moyenne de buts encaissés de 1,64 en 61 matchs dans le circuit USHS-Prep. Cette saison, il a disputé 18 matchs, avec un pourcentage d’arrêts de 0,922, pour une fiche de 14-3-1-0, dont deux blanchissages. Il a été nommé deux fois recrue de la semaine dans la Ligue de hockey de l’Ontario (OHL) et recrue de la LHQ du mois de novembre.
Ruml, 17 ans, a été sélectionné huitième par Ottawa lors du repêchage d’importation 2025 de la Ligue canadienne de hockey. Originaire de Boskovice, en République tchèque, Ondrej a joué pour le HC Dynamo Pardubice U17, récoltant 40 points en 41 matchs. Il a également contribué à 10 points en sept matchs éliminatoires, avec un but et neuf passes décisives. Cette saison, avec les 67, il a disputé 30 matchs et récolté 17 points, soit sept buts et dix passes décisives.
Vandenberg, 17 ans, a été sélectionné au 93e rang par Ottawa lors du repêchage prioritaire de l’LHQ en 2024. Il a passé la saison 2024-2025 avec les RoughRiders de Cedar Rapids de la Ligue de hockey des États-Unis, où il a récolté neuf buts et neuf passes décisives pour un total de 18 points en 55 matchs de saison régulière. Cette année, il a enregistré 18 points en 21 matchs, dont un tour du chapeau lors de ses débuts dans la LHQ. Il est classé 70e par Consolidated Ranking et 30e par TSN/Craig Button pour le repêchage 2026 de la LNH.
