67’s visit Petes for final time this season
After five days off, the Ottawa 67’s look to start off the first game of a back-to-back with a win against the Peterborough Petes. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 PM with fans able to tune in live from the PMC on Rogers TV, stream on CHL TV, or listen to Kenny Walls on 580 CFRA.
The 67’s are coming off a loss against the Brantford Bulldogs on Saturday, and are eyeing a better fate at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. Luca Pinelli scored his 46th goal of the season and Jacob Maillet was able to tap in a rebound early on in the game, but it wasn’t enough as the Bulldogs scored three in the third to secure the win.
The Petes currently sit in ninth place in the Eastern Conference and with the eight playoff teams already decided, they will not be moving onto the postseason. Peterborough dropped their last game 6-3 against the Kingston Frontenacs, despite forward Braydon McCallum scoring twice.
The 67’s beat the Pete’s 4-2 the last time they visited Peterborough, and hope to use the final meeting of the season to get back in the win column.
