2024 OHL Priority Selection: Info and live blog
The big day is finally here! The first three rounds of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore takes place tonight, beginning at 7:00 PM.
One selection has already been made, with the Windsor Spitfires announcing the selection of forward Ethan Belchetz with the first overall pick, yesterday.
The Barber Poles will pick twice in the first round, 11th overall as well as 21st overall. They will pick once more on the night, with the 52nd overall selection, in the third round. Rounds four through fifteen will take place on Saturday, beginning at 9:00 AM.
Both days of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection will be produced by YourTV and can be viewed live for free on OHL Live, as well as on YourTV, Rogers TV and Eastlink community stations. The proceedings will air live across the province on Rogers Super Sports Pak ch. 466 (East) and 677 (West).

Round 1, Pick 11 – C Nathan Amidovski, Barrie Jr. Colts
“Nathan is a big, smooth skating forward with high-level offensive ability,” said 67’s General Manager James Boyd. “We’re excited to welcome him to the Ottawa 67’s.”
A native of Toronto, Amidovski scored 69 points in 33 games with the Colts, this season, along with 22 points in nine postseason matchups. Amidovski tallied an additional six points in five games at the OHL Cup.
Round 1, Pick 21 – D Kohyn Eshkawkogan, U16 North York Rangers
“Kohyn is a smooth-skating defenceman,” said 67’s General Manager James Boyd. “He moves the puck extremely well, and plays a responsible game in his own end of the ice.” A member of M’Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island, Eshkawkogan scored 65 points in 76 games this year.

Round 3, Pick 52 – LW Jordan Perrier, Ottawa Valley Titans
“Jordan is a fast skater, with an excellent skillset,” said 67’s General Manager James Boyd. “He’s shifty with the puck, and had a tremendous playoffs with the Ottawa Valley Titans.”
A native of Carp, Perrier appeared in 29 games for the Titans, this season, scoring 44 points, and tallied 15 points in 11 postseason games. He added another six points in four games at the OHL Cup.
Round 5, Pick 88 – D Luca Bonomo, North York Rangers
“Luca is a towering, physical defenceman,” said 67’s Associate General Manager and Director of Scouting Jan Egert. “He is a mobile skater, who plays with poise in his end of the ice.”
Hailing from Vaughan, Bonomo suited up in 75 games for the Rangers, tallying 13 points, and posting a plus-minus rating of 20. He added two assists in six games at the OHL Cup.
Round 5, Pick 93 – Thomas Vandenberg, Ottawa Myers Automotive U16 AAA
“Thomas is an excellent 200-foot player, with strong play-making ability,” said 67’s Associate General Manager and Director of Scouting Jan Egert. “He was a natural, and consistent leader for his team, this season.”
A Nepean native, Vandenberg appeared in 26 games for Myers, tallying 43 points, also scoring three goals in four games at the OHL Cup.
Round 7, Pick 127 – LW Clarence Allain, Vaughan Kings U16 AAA
A product of Toronto, Allain scored 42 points in 34 games with the Kings, this season, along with another four assists in seven games at the OHL Cup.
Round 7, Pick 133 – G Chase Petrova, Oshawa Minor Generals U16 AAA
A product of King City, Petrova posted a record of 28-12-3 in 44 games, this season, earning a .906 save percentage. He went 3-1-0 at the OHL Cup, with a .936 save percentage, and 1.26 goals against average.
Round 8, Pick 156 – C Brayden Krawczyk, Toronto Jr. Canadiens U16 AAA
Hailing from Etobicoke, Krawczyk posted 43 points in 34 games with the Jr. Canadiens, scoring 22 goals in the process.
Round 9, Pick 173 – D Abe Barnett, Chicago Mission 15’s
Round 10, Pick 193 – D Conor Dervin, Upper Canada Cyclones U16 AAA
Round 10, Pick 202 – RW Jaxon Williams, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes 15’s
Round 11, Pick 213 – RW Julien Davis, Chatham-Kent Cyclones U16 AAA
Round 12, Pick 233 – RW Lukas Zajic, Shattuck-St. Mary’s Sabres 15’s
