67’s stop in on Firebirds Saturday night
Though their three-game winning streak ended in Sarnia, last night, the Ottawa 67’s have points in five straight, and look to keep clawing their way up the standings tonight.
The 67’s have a date with the Flint Firebirds, in the middle portion of a three-in-three. It’s a 7:00pm puck drop, with fans able to watch live on Rogers TV, stream on CHL TV, or hear Kenny Walls on the call for TSN 1200.
Braeden Kressler, Sam Mayer, and Thomas Sirman scored in Jaeden Nelson’s first start, last night, but the Sting snuck away with a 4-3 victory, despite a 22-save performance by the rookie.
Flint had similar luck, last night, outshooting the Barrie Colts, yet falling 4-2 at home. Oliver Peer accounted for both goals, as Nathan Day stopped 21 shots in net.
