67’s kick off March Break Staycation against Colts
It’s March break, and the Ottawa 67’s are set to end a three-game home stand with the teams Staycation Game on Tuesday.
After falling to the Mississauga Steelheads on the weekend, the 67’s will look to get back into the win column in the first game of a home-and-home against the Barrie Colts. Puck drop is scheduled for 2:00pm, with fans able to stream on CHL TV, or listen to Kenny Walls call the action on TSN 1200.
The 67’s put forward a solid effort against the Steelheads, but dropped the game 4-2, Sunday. It was again the defencemen doing the goalscoring, with Thomas Sirman and Matthew Mayich supplying the offence for the 67’s.
The Colts visited the Oshawa Generals on Sunday afternoon, finding themselves on the wrong end of a 5-1 score. Kanata native Cole Beaudoin scored the only goal for his team.
The 67’s beat the Colts 8-3 the last time they were in town — on November 5, 2023 — and Capital Territory will be looking for a similar outcome in today’s contest.
